I want to grow into the world of navigation in the long term and am looking for a Competent or Racing crew
Hello, I am a medical student from Germany and am very flexible, especially during the semester breaks. For me, sailing not only means freedom, but also opens up a scientific perspective on the environment that fascinates me deeply. I learn best by trying things out directly and taking responsibility, so I am looking for crews who enjoy sharing knowledge and growing together.
I am calm, patient, team-oriented, analytical and close to nature. Reliable, clear communication and a certain degree of planning security – ideally with some lead time – are important to me. I am currently working actively to obtain my SSS certificate and am continuously expanding my knowledge of navigation, weather, maritime law and seamanship. In the long term, I would like to develop my understanding of weather, seamanship and sustainable navigation, inspired by how deeply seafaring and research can be connected.
I am looking forward to skippers or crews who are willing to take on motivated beginners and are looking for someone who listens attentively, works reliably and has a genuine interest in becoming a fully-fledged crew member step by step.
