Traveling around the world and looking for opportunities to gain sailing experience.
Hi - this is Sandra (34) and Christian (39) from Switzerland. We are on a 2-year journey around the globe without flying. So far we have made it to the US, New Zealand, Indonesia and now mainland Southeast Asia. We have been on three big ships, on lots of ferries, we have lived in campervans for half a year and are now backpacking in SEA. We are looking for opportunities to gain experience on sailboats and smaller ships.
Christian:
- I am an economist by training, but my true passion is literature/creative writing and the outdoors.
- I have worked on a small passenger ferry on the river in Bern, Switzerland.
- I can cook a good meal with whatever is around and I’m a very good planner.
