Looking for a Competent Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I have been messing about in boats for years, sailing dinghies and piloting the club safety boat.
I have qualified as a RYA Coastal skipper and have a Short Range Certificate and have crewed sailing yachts for a few thousand miles in Europe, but I haven´t set foot on a boat for about 6 years and as I now have the freedom to do so I would like to get back into the swing of things.
I´d enjoy some crewing opportunities, preferably within easy flying distance of Santiago de Compostella (I live near Cedeira in A Coruña) in a relaxed but safety conscious boat
Though older I am healthy and fit.
I have reasonablle housekeeping skills and I am fairly organised
