Pacific and beyond. Looking for a Competent Crew position to cross the Pacific
Hello all,
its time to update my profile here a bit, as I am still looking to join a boat to cross the Pacific. Have done my ASA courses in Puerto Vallarta Mexico in June and really enjoyed them. I am flexible with my time schedule and understand that most sailboats only attempt to cross the between December and March, which is perfect for me.
Here is a bit more about me. 56yr old German/Finnish engineer and motorcycle traveler/mechanic living in Bolivia. A very happy person, living my dreams for more then 30yrs now, rode a motorcycle around the world for 6 1/2 years, travel a lot ... I am typing this in Bogota Colombia. Can pay my way to and from the boat, all my visas and of course food and other costs, but not an engine overhaul or new sails for your boat.
I dont mind working, cooking, cleaning, night watches, and what ever is needed, but the main focus needs to be crossing the Pacific.
Pls tell me more about yourself and your/our journey. Lets talk ....
