Couple looking for sailing in Montenegro in July
Hi! We are a married couple living in Serbia and looking to join a sailing trip in Montenegro in July, ideally for a few days or up to a week.
We both have some sailing experience: regattas in Croatia and Turkey, a one-week skipper course in Fethiye, several sailing trips in Turkey, and training on small sport boats. We are not captains or professional crew, but we are happy to help on board with sails, lines, winches, mooring, watches, boat life and general tasks under the skipper’s guidance.
We are not looking for a completely lazy trip. We would love to sail, make some passages, build more experience, anchor in beautiful bays, swim and spend time with a friendly crew. Night passages are probably not the best fit for this trip, as we would also like to rest.
We are happy to share common expenses such as food, fuel, marina fees and boat kitty.
One important thing: we have Russian passports and currently do not have Schengen visas, so we are looking for routes that do not require entering countries where we would need a visa. Montenegro is visa-free for us.
Our ideal scenario would be to join with our dog, a Basenji. She is calm, clean, does not bark, and is almost cat-like at home. We understand this may not work for every boat, but we would be very happy if it is possible.
