Looking to crew Atlantic crossing 2026
I'm a Swedish sailor based in Germany (previously Switzerland). I've spent my summers cruising the Mediterranean and the Baltic. Some thousand nautical miles by now, including night sails and longer passages. I hold the Swedish Coastal Skipper certificate and an SRC/VHF radio certificate, and I'm comfortable standing my own watch, day or night.
By background I'm an electrical engineer (these days mostly working with computers), so I'm at home with onboard electrical and electronic systems like instruments, autopilot, solar, comms and the like and happy to help troubleshoot if something plays up. I'm calm and easy to live with in close quarters, a dog owner who's entirely comfortable with a dog aboard, and I pull my weight with watches, cooking, cleaning and the rest of shared-life sailing.
I'm hoping to do an Atlantic crossing this coming autumn or winter. I work over the summer, so I'm free from November onward, and I'm always happy to meet up or do a shorter shakedown sail first to get to know a boat and crew.
