Danish amatuer sailor with training seeking Crew position for 1 to 4 week trips over the coming year, with voluntary work, Friendship or Novice Crew positions
Over the coming year, I am hoping to join a series of shorter passages, typically somewhere between one and four weeks at a time, as part of a Voluntary, Novice, or Friendship Crew. My interest in sailing began at boarding school in Denmark, where I spent a full year on the water and obtained the Danish Boating Proficiency Test (Dansk sejlads duelighedsprøve), giving me a solid grounding in seamanship, navigation, and boat handling of smaller boats. Since then, I have kept my hand in through recreational sailing on charter boats during the summer months. Given the shorter format I am looking for, I would be well suited to skippers wanting an extra pair of hands for a specific leg or delivery rather than a long-term crew commitment, and I am flexible enough to fit around a departure window rather than needing to plan far in advance. I am reliable, easy company, and keen to learn whatever a boat and its skipper can teach me.
