Looking for a Racing crew or Competent Crew position on long crossings or races
I am Charlie, currently holding an RYA Day Skipper qualification and an active member of a sailing club based in Copenhagen. I have experience in both cruising and competitive sailing, including participation in the 1st Division of Sejlsportsligaen in a J/70. I sail weekly on a J/80 and am keen to further develop my skills, particularly in long-distance passages and advanced navigation.
I am a qualified marine engineer with an unlimited STCW Certificate of Competency. I hold all basic and advanced STCW95 courses. I have nine years of offshore experience on container and offshore construction vessels, with strong expertise in maintenance and repair of marine systems and yacht equipment. I currently work as a superintendent responsible for five vessels, overseeing dry dockings and daily technical operations.
I'm really looking for long passages at sea in challenging conditions.
