Once co owner of a 24 m three masted barquentine in the Med, later skipper on an AMEL AMARU. Then 35 years at Exxon (yes… a very long coffee break from real sailing). At 60 I crossed the Atlantic on a 47 m schooner to wake up my sea legs again.
Since retiring, I spent three months in the South Pacific on a Nautitech 47, and this year sailed a new SEAWIND 1370 from the Philippines to Borneo, Singapore and Malaysia.
I’m 67, 201 cm, sporty, healthy, and medication free — basically a tall mast with legs. Around 20,000 NM experience, dont get seasick.
I’m looking for 2–3 months of sailing, ideally long distance. I’m reliable, easygoing, and treat any boat as if it were my own.
