Looking for a boat from Central America to French Polynesi
Hello everyone, I’m Tommaso, an Italian classical pianist hoping to sail from Central America to French Polynesia, ideally leaving between December 2026 and early 2027.
I completed my RYA Competent Crew course in Jersey, Channel Islands, last year and also spent about three weeks sailing in Croatia. I’m still relatively new to sailing and don’t pretend to have ocean passage experience, but I’m incredibly keen to learn and very happy to help with watches, cooking, cleaning and normal life aboard. As a bonus, I’m a pretty good cook, especially when it comes to Italian food!
I’m easygoing, curious and used to travelling and living with people from different countries. I recently left my job as a piano teacher and ballet accompanist to make time for this journey, so I’m genuinely committed, but also flexible about the exact route and dates.
I’d love to hear from anyone heading towards the Marquesas, Tuamotu, Society Islands, Cook Islands or anywhere else along the way.
