Looking for a Competent Crew, Racing crew or Novice Crew position
Hi all! My name is Rachel. I'm looking for positions as crew on a sailing vessel. I have been sailing for two years on dinghies (20- 25ft). I also crew bigger s/v on Wednesday night race series ( I enjoy being bowman but I enjoy doing everything).
I would love to crew for deliveries and also sail down south. I am a lifelong surfer (so any waves involved is a plus), and I have been an ocean lifeguard for 10 years (so I am not afraid of big seas). I have experience on docks (I worked at marinas in my teens). I was a competitive swimmer and I love to dive, so I'm happy to help with boat maintenance like scraping and the like. I also sew and I work sometimes at a marine canvas workshop.

I speak Spanish, French, and English fluently and I was a teacher for 10 years as well.
I am available indefinitely starting in October 2026, but I would be available also for local trips in August and September.
