Delivery & Offshore Crew – Looking for Serious Passages
I’m looking for opportunities to join yacht deliveries and purposeful offshore passages with experienced skippers, preferably as part of a small crew. The goal is to develop solid offshore competence and, with experience, progress towards co-skipper responsibilities.
Particularly interested in being actively involved in passage planning, weather monitoring and routing, navigation, watchkeeping, sail handling and manoeuvres, as well as the decision-making involved in running a boat safely and efficiently offshore.
I have a strong technical and hands-on background and enjoy understanding systems, troubleshooting and solving problems aboard. Happy to start as crew, listen and learn, while taking on more responsibility as experience and trust develop.
Ultimately, I’m looking to build genuine offshore competence and would especially value opportunities to sail repeatedly with experienced delivery skippers.
