Offshore crew, stands own night watch — free all September, no return ticket
SAILING EXPERIENCE
Mediterranean, Caribbean, offshore Brazil and the North Atlantic, plus many
seasons in the Swedish archipelago and Danish waters. On passage I stand my
own watch — alone, at night, including sail changes and keeping the log.
Comfortable reefing, helming in a seaway and keeping a proper lookout.
QUALIFICATIONS
Danish powerboat licence. No sailing certificates — what I bring is sea time
rather than paper.
AVAILABILITY
All of September 2026, roughly four weeks. Flexible on dates, route and
destination. No return ticket forcing a weather window.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
A passage rather than a marina hop — Mediterranean to Gibraltar or the
Canaries, or a westbound leg out of Fiji towards Vanuatu, New Caledonia or
Australia. Cost-sharing is fine: I pay my share of provisions and harbour
fees and cover my own flights.
ABOUT ME
Easy to live with in a small space. I do not get seasick, I cook properly and
I do not drink at sea. I work with AI and digital product development in
Copenhagen, so I am useful with anything electronic on board and I do not
need entertaining. Languages: Danish and English.
