Looking for Atlantic Crossing – Canary Islands to Caribbean – Nov/Dec 2026
I’m looking to join a sailing boat for an Atlantic crossing from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean in November or December 2026. I’m particularly interested in joining for the crossing itself and would ideally leave the boat once we reach the Caribbean.
I don’t have extensive sailing experience, but I’m very comfortable travelling and living in natural environments and adapting to different ways of life. I travelled approximately 6,500 km along the Amazon river, using local boats as my main means of transportation.
I’m an active, sporty and physically fit person, used to outdoor activities and physical effort. I also have my own kayak, which I transport and handle myself, so I’m comfortable with practical tasks and being around the water.
I’m curious, easy-going and responsible, and happy to learn and help with watches, cooking, cleaning, maintenance and whatever is needed on board. I’m looking for a friendly crew and a safe, respectful environment in which to experience my first Atlantic crossing.
