Looking for a Friendship, Mile building or Novice Crew position
Hi,
I'm looking for opportunities to join a sailing yacht for longer passages, offshore sailing and mile building, either as part of a private cruising trip or a delivery.
I'm currently preparing for the German SKS sailing licence, which I expect to complete in October 2026. I already have some sailing experience and would now like to gain more experience on longer passages, improve my practical skills and build sea miles.
I'm particularly interested in trips where I can be an active member of the crew rather than just a passenger. I'm happy to take part in watches, helming, sail handling, navigation, manoeuvres and all the usual tasks of life on board.
In terms of destination and timing, I'm quite flexible. I'm especially interested in long-distance and offshore passages, for example around the Atlantic, Canary Islands, Madeira or Cape Verde, but I'm also open to completely different routes and destinations.
I'm easy-going, reliable and keen to learn. I enjoy meeting new people and would be happy to contribute to shared expenses on a private yacht.
