I’m a relatively new but very enthusiastic sailor, and I’ve recently completed my SKS qualification in Germany.
I’ve really fallen in love with sailing and my ambition is to become a confident, experienced and capable skipper myself one day. I’m keen to keep learning, gain experience in different situations and sail with nice people who enjoy sharing their passion for being on the water.
I’m open to everything from weekend trips to 2-week-journeys and would love to experience different boats, places and sailing styles. I’m happy to get involved, take responsibility and learn by doing in order to contribute to a wonderful, safe sailing experience.
Outside sailing, I’m curious, easy-going and adaptable. I work as a software developer with a physics background and enjoy figuring things out and building things, and I’m often the person who brings people together and gets things organized. Good communication, mutual respect and a positive crew atmosphere are important to me.
I’m not looking for a luxury holiday — I’m looking for sailing, learning, adventure and good people along the way. ⛵
