Competent crew member/sailor looking for opportunities to log hours
I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew, Deckhand or Delivery Crew. I would love to log some sea time and learn from more experienced crews.
I am a graduate student (robotics) with aspirations of working at sea on uncrewed operations. I have logged some sea time as the operator of my personal boat, a Clark San Juan 21, on Lake Michigan. I also have experience as a sea kayaking guide and I am an avid surfer.
Outside of my sailing experience, I have a diverse background of experiences. I was a US Peace Corps volunteer, and a high school math teacher. I'm an excellent communicator, and generally I have an easy time getting on with all sorts of people.
