Sailor looking for Mile Building, Delivery or Ocean Passage Crew
Hi! I'm Marina, a sailor from Poland currently looking for opportunities to join a sailing yacht as crew.
I'm particularly interested in mile building, delivery passages, ocean crossings and longer sailing adventures. I'm happy to join as voluntary crew and I'm mainly looking for sailing experience rather than payment.
I'm comfortable standing watches and helping with the everyday life on board. I can cook, keep things organised, help with cleaning and general boat work, and I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty.
I've been involved in an ocean-going yacht refit and will be sailing from Europe towards the South Atlantic, including the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Ushuaia. I'm especially interested in continuing to build offshore sailing experience afterwards.
I'm easy-going, independent and used to living and working as part of a crew. I'm happy to help wherever needed and I enjoy learning new things.
I'm also a hairdresser, so if the crew needs a haircut somewhere in the middle of nowhere… I might be useful for that too. ?
