Looking to join a crew, anything considered
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in joining an experienced crew as Novice Crew. Would ideally like to start in Europe and end up in central or South America, but I'm open to join in any destination.
I have good sea legs, but they're a bit rusty. I have previous experience of delivering a fast 42 racing yacht, from Durban to Cape town back in 2010.
It was the most amazing and most terrifying experience of my life, the "Wild Coast" and "Cape of Good Hope" really lived up to their reputation. I learnt a lot and had many challenges and enjoyed the experience and was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
I was also a cruise director and dive master on a luxury lifeguard livaboard sailing the Visayas Philippines in 2016 and in recent years, I have completed many day charters helping friends with their yachts and catamarans.
I'm also a newly certified Aida master freediver, scuba instructor (PADI & SSI), technical diver, cavern diver and a yoga instructor ( but I don't enjoy teaching lol)
I'm fit, energetic, easy going, very hygienic, considerate, tidy, have attention to detail, think outside the box and can cook. I don't drink or do drugs, but luckily I'm pretty fun without that stuff anyway.
