Hi everyone!
I’m a 31-year-old from the Netherlands, currently in Tenerife, and I’m looking to join a sailboat for an Atlantic crossing.
I’m available after 8 October and I’m very flexible regarding dates and locations. Ideally, I’d love to sail from the Canary Islands across the Atlantic ocean. I’m open to different routes and plans.
⛵ My sailing experience:
My longest offshore experience has been the 730 NM Curaçao–Panama passage as crew, including standing night watches.
?? Greece – 1 week / ~130 NM
?? Ibiza – day trip / ~25 NM
?? Bonaire – day trip / ~30 NM
?? Bonaire → Curaçao – ~40 NM
?? Curaçao → Panama – ~730 NM
? Living aboard:
I also have experience living onboard. I'm very comfortable with daily life on boats, cooking and cleaning. (I dont get seasick)

I’m mainly looking for a good crew, a good boat and a great experience! I really enjoy the lifestyle at sea and being part of a small crew. I’m not looking to simply be a passenger — I want to help, learn and contribute wherever I can. I’m happy to take part in watchkeeping, cooking, cleaning, learn about maintenance and the general day-to-day work onboard. I’m positive, tidy, adaptable, easygoing, and comfortable living and working closely with other people. Im calm, no stress, never get into fights. I work indepentently and curious how things work, if I see a task I will do it.
I have a background in psychology, which has also taught me a lot about communication and dealing with different personalities. Now I live and travel as a digital nomad around the world for the last 3,5 years.
I would like to improve my sailing skills. I’m keen to learn and take responsibility. I’m looking to crew or volunteer, I can contribute toward reasonable shared expenses.
Sailing across the Atlantic has been a dream for years. This year Im very focussed and excited to make this dream come true! ⛵?
