Two ocean lovers looking for a sailing adventure! ⛵️ Atlantic crossing – Jan 2027
Hi everyone! ⛵️
We’re Alice (27) and Léa (26), a French couple who love everything about the ocean! Between surfing, fishing, diving and sailing whenever we get the chance, we spend most of our free time in or on the water.
We’re planning to take a break from our jobs and travel for several months starting in January 2027. Our dream is to kick off this adventure by crossing the Atlantic! Ideally, we’d love to sail from the Canary Islands, Cape Verde or Senegal to Brazil or the Caribbean, but we’re open to other opportunities and very flexible with dates.
We’ve just come back from 10 days sailing between Italy and Corsica with a skipper we met online, and absolutely loved it! We helped with manoeuvres, cooking, cleaning and everyday life on board. We even managed to cook some pretty good meals in rough seas, without getting seasick! We’d be happy to put you in touch with our skipper for a reference.
A little about us:
Alice has previously sailed for two weeks in the Mediterranean, holds a boating licence and is a certified scuba diver. If she could live underwater, she probably would!
Léa grew up between French Guiana, Mauritania and Algeria, so she’s used to adapting to new places, meeting new people and making the most of new experiences.
We’re still beginners when it comes to sailing, and we know an Atlantic crossing is a big step up from the Mediterranean. But we’re eager to learn, happy to take watches, help with manoeuvres and get involved in every aspect of life on board.
We’re looking for novice crew positions, but we’re also very open to volunteering opportunities! We can help with cooking, cleaning, video creation/editing, tutoring or looking after children, and whatever else might be useful on board.
We’re easygoing, reliable, enthusiastic and happy to contribute to shared expenses. Most importantly, we’d love to meet good people, learn from experienced sailors and share a great adventure together!
