Looking for a Deckhand, Delivery Crew or Captain position
Hi everyone! :) I’m Maddalena, 26 from Italy.
I’m looking for a job position on a sailboat, I’ve more than 10.000 miles logged, Yachtmaster Offshore, STCW, SRC radio, ENG 1.
One year and a half ago I bought my first sailboat, a Pierrot 916, I sailed from North to South of Italy twice (summer ‘25 and ‘26).
This summer I worked as a deckhand on a 71ft ketch, sailing from Tuscany to Tunisia via Sardinia Sicily and Calabria, then we sailed back to Liguria.
I also worked 2 months in Norway as skipper of Oceanis 51.1 and workboats during a beach cleaning project in Finnmark.
I worked all summer 2025 as skipper for charters in Ionian Greece on a Bavaria 46 cruiser, embarking and disembarking everytime from south italy.
I dealt with anchors, moorings, planning navigation and daily tours based on the weather forecast/conditions.
When at the anchor, I was disembarking guests by dinghy.
Atlantic crossing on Hallberg Rassy 53 from Portugal to BVI via Cape Verde and Antigua, sailed the Caribbean and then got to South Carolina.
