Ex-Navy electrical engineer from Oslo, getting back into sailing after years away.
Electrical engineer, Norwegian Navy 2005–2012, now getting back into sailing after years away. Sailed as crew on the tall ship Christian Radich, from Norway to the Mediterranean. GMDSS Long Range Certificate holder. Completed Oslo Seilskole's beginner sailing course in 2026 and did dinghy training in RS Quests at KNS. Now studying RYA Day Skipper theory. Open to delivery and crew spots.
In the Navy I worked in operations rooms and a combat information centre, on radar plots and radio communications. The crews were small, so I was also on the firefighting and mooring teams and served as first aider. Today I work in defence technology. On board I take my share of watches and jobs, follow the skipper's routines, and want to build sea miles.
Lapsed: STCW Basic Safety (2006) and GMDSS GOC (2009).
