Looking for a Voluntary work, Novice Crew, Miles building or Housekeeping/Stew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Voluntary work, Novice Crew, Mile building or Housekeeping/Stew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am a physiotherapist by profession and my partner is a carpenter who has completed one season of yacht racing. I will have some social racing experience and my MAR 1or coxwain 1 or 2 completed. We both hold working with children and first aid/CPR. We are happy to do additional Courses (looking into survival at sea Course). We are very calm and practical people who socialise easily with others. We Enjoy all nature activities -hiking, mountain biking, swimming and camping, and 4WD.
We are in Australia until approximately March next year when we are planing to travel Europe for up to a year sailing and motor homing. If an opportunity arises in the south eastern pacific, early or late 2027 (Feb-May) we would be keen to pursue it. We are exploring different sites to make contact with people who can increase our yacht experience and miles both in Australia and overseas. We hope to buy our own yacht when we return to Australia with more experiences under our belt. Hopefully offering others an opportunity to improve their sailing In the future.
