Looking for a Novice Crew, Racing crew or Mile building position
Hi my name is Ella, I’m 20 years old and I’m looking for an opportunity to get some ocean sailing experience! I would be especially interested in longer passages!
I grew up keelboat sailing with my family on the Mississippi river with 500+ hours on boats 35-54 ft. I’ve worked as a sailing instructor for 5 years teaching on dinghy sailboats at my local sailing school where I truly fell in love with sailing. This past summer I became head sailor of the sailing school where I managed day to day operations. Through that job I learned a lot about basic maintenance like fiberglass repair, sail repair, and splicing and I would be totally willing to help with maintenance projects onboard.
I’m also happy to help with anything that comes with life aboard like cooking, cleaning, maintenance, watches, sailing. I'm also happy to help with daily expenses and groceries.
I’m extremely passionate about sailing and would love the opportunity to gain some more sailing experience!
