Complete greenie looking to learn the basics!
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Friendship, Voluntary work or Novice Crew. I’ve traveled some incredible distances by foot and bike, now I have my sights set on learning to sail. Growing up in Bellingham, WA, sailing was always a popular sport, but financially out of reach for my family. This Spring I completed 1,000 miles (1600 km) of the Pacific Crest Trail, and I had the pleasure of meeting a dear friend named Sailor who had sailed around the world three times. Her stories were incredible, and the adventurous lifestyle she detailed got me excited. I am currently biking around Morocco, but after Christmas will be looking to do something new. Why not take on a freshie?
