I am a South African mariner with 17 years of experience across a broad range of operations, including deliveries, private and charter programs, yard periods, and technical rebuilds.
My background combines hands-on vessel handling, strong engineering competence, and practical leadership, having captained vessels ranging from 25ft to 115ft while managing diverse crews and maintaining high safety standards. I’ve run multiple mono-hulls and catamarans in the Indian Ocean and Southern Africa — often in fast-moving, challenging environments where sound decision-making and calm problem-solving are essential.
The technical side of the role is a key strength of mine: I’ve restored or rebuilt several vessels, rebuilt systems from scratch, overseen fiberglass and mechanical repairs, and brought multiple yachts back to full operational and insurance-ready condition. This has allowed me to step confidently into roles where reliability and continuity are crucial.
