SV Windflower,
Hello!
My name is Paul Trammell. You can learn much more about me by looking at my website paultrammell.com, and by looking at my author profile on Amazon. I am an author, mainly of sailing nonfiction, and a podcast host. My boat is a Cartwright 40. She is built for bluewater sailing, with a full keel, flush deck, cutter rig, solar panels... Safety gear includes a 4-man liferaft, EPIRB, PLB, AIS transciever, radar, jacklines, extra lifejacket and tethers. She has a new engine and new standing rigging, and is a strong and seaworthy boat. Hoever, she is short on creature-comforts. There is no hot water, and no watermaker, so it's like camping, but on a boat. She does have a nice propane 3-burner stove, and a clean and working head. I live aboard, so there is not much empty space.
I usually sail alone, but might be looking for crew sometimes. I am mostly a quiet and introverted person, but I can also tell long stories. Windflower is a quiet boat, I generally don't play music. I love the tranquility of the ocean and prefer to listen to its sounds and those of the boat.
I do not drink or smoke or do any drugs, and my boat is a dry ship. No alcohol or drugs or smoking is allowed.
When I reach a destination, I like to freedive, spearfish, and surf. I prefer natural beauty to civilization. And I always spend time reading and writing.
