Sailing Solent!
Hello!
I have a 23ft bilge keel sailboat and I am taking her out on regular trips around the south coast of England and to the Isle of Wight most weekends the weather allows it. I would love some crew mates to join me on these voyages to share knowledge and tricks with one another and to assist with navigating usually just a weekend at a time.
The boat is a 1970 Halcyon 23. It is not a luxury cruiser by any means, but it is more than capable of getting around the water safely (and slowly).
If you want to build up some coastal miles and you have a weekend free with nothing to do then I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you Sean for welcoming me aboard Josoline! We had limited experience between us; but by discussing and making careful plans (plus the benefit of a mentor to help us with passage planning), we had a fully enjoyable and safe maiden voyage together from the river Hamble to East Cowes. Sean is a super friendly and welcoming guy, who was so pleased that I had come to visit and sail together. Sean kindly let me stay on Josoline at her mooring from Mon to Fri, while he was away working, so that we could sail again the following weekend. A great experience and I hope to be back at the Hamble, to sail together again this summer!
