Experienced Delivery Skipper/Charter Boat Skipper
I am a delivery skipper based in the Caribbean where I've been sailing my own boat and those of many others for the past sixteen years.
Recently I've been running a 60' steel cutter between Panama and Cartagena, with two crew and up to seventeen passengers plus motorbikes, cruising through the San Blas islands.
My latest deliveries include a 79' 1958 Baltic Trader from Miami to Panama, a 55' aluminium sloop from St Martin to Nantes, a 46' catamaran from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale, a 42' ketch from Ecuador to Panama and a 60' steel sloop from St Martin to Portugal.
Over the years I've made numerous ocean passages across the Pacific and Atlantic and have gained extensive coastwise experience in the islands and river navigation in South America.
I've worked in the yachting industry as a maritime projects manager refitting and rerigging sailing vessels and have the skills to carry out extensive repairs at sea if necessary. As a result I have shown a 100% success rate in delivering yachts to their destination.
I also have experience as a charter skipper in the BVI's and as a day charter skipper on catamarans and powerboats around St Martin and Anguilla.
