Looking for a Novice Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as an Amateur Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I live on my sail boat during summer since three years. When I bought Oundine, a Grampian 26 feet, I had never sailed except once, when I was 15 years old, for a touristic expedition on a catamaran in Hawaï. It was the most uncertain decision I had to take in my life and the best I ever took! Three years later, I know a bit more. I sail on the Lac Des Deux-Montagnes alone, approaching my moreen with the bar in one hand and the gaff in the other. I still have a lot to learn but I'm proud of my learnings and my resourcefulness. Now that I know I can live and love to live on a boat, I'm ready to discover what the world by the sea has to offer to me. I'm excited by the idea of meeting new people who share the joy of sailing and are stimulated by the adventure. I have no defined destination, I go with the flow and maybe the wind will put some of you on my way, to celebrate life. I'll be ready for the adventure no farther than january, but hopefully before.
