Looking for adventures
We are enthusiastic sailors looking for opportunities to learn from and to upgrade our skills. Our dream is to live on a yacht and sail around the world some day, and for that we need a boat and more sailing experience.
We have been living in a van for the past 3 years, seeing most of Australia except WA and TAS (thanks to border closures). Apart from sailing and travel in general we enjoy many other activities, from the common (such as hiking, kayaking, snorkeling) to the more usual (including fossicking for sapphires and detecting for gold), to things that some people consider "extreme" (bungee and skydiving). Pretty much anything beats sitting in front of a screen all day!
We're generally pretty easy going, with just a couple of things that can be a challenge at times. Anna has some allergies (wheat, ginger, tobacco), so if you have a big smoker on board it's probably safer for us not to join you. We also don't drink or eat meat. It's not for any kind of "religious" reason, so we won't preach or interfere with your habits and are more than happy to do what we do and let everyone else do what they do... But some people find it hard to deal with others' special diets (and particularly with non-drinkers) so we always mention that up front to avoid surprises :)

August 2020 Crew on Ruby Sunday, (Lagoon 380 catamaran) for 6 days in the Whitsundays, Australia.
July 2020 Crew on Portland Roads, (Lagoon 420 catamaran) for 3 days in the Whitsundays, Australia.
September 2019 Delivery crew on S/Y Hineni (Jeanneau 440) in Greece for 2 weeks from Athens to Preveza, approx 428 miles.
August 2019 Crew on Saquila (75ft ketch) in Greece for 1 week from Kalamata to Lavrion, approx 280 miles.
Anna also had previous sailing experience, mostly day sailing Lasers, Tasars, Herons, small one-man catamarans since 2002. Other experience includes:
