I'm experienced and want to go cruising in the beginning of 2026
Hi all,
I'm a Swedish male looking for the oppurtunity to crew on a boat. Maybe you need company or help during a passage? Or just slowly sailing from island to island? I will be retiring soon and will be ready to leave in January 2026 and don't have a date when I have to return.
I don't smoke and I work hard with a relaxed attitude. I can cook, clean and do maintenance.
I have crossed the Atlantic twice. Once as crew on a 40 ft monohull in the racing division of the ARC and once as a first mate on a 39 ft performance catamaran. I also have sailing experience from coastal solo sailing my (now sold) Wharram Tiki 21 and sailing a friends 31 ft monohull on the Swedish west coast and also creewing on a Lagoon 380 in Croatia. I have a Swedish Inshore Yachtmaster Diploma.
I don't smoke, but I enjoy a beer or a drink every once in a while (never on passages though). I'm fluent in English and speak a little French and Spanish.
I'm partial to multihulls, but other things are more important than the number of hulls.
