About me.
I’m connected to the ocean since childhood, as an unconditional part of life, son of a Sailor, who build his own boat .
The start 90s :
I started to compete "Optimist" class representing the "CPEDP" . under regional and national championships.
Some regattas with “l equipe” “laser” “scout” “raquero”.
I start to teach kids in optimist class at the end of 2000 at CPEDP and buy my windsurf board to ride alone at my free time.
Co-founder of "Born 2 Sail" sailing academy in 2016, since then works as a sailing school for all ages and vessels delivery as well, for the moment we own a 29FT
In 2017 i bring a 38FT “Maeva” from Rome to Lisbon, at that time only with my local Captains Licence ( 15 days at sea )
In 2018 I upgrade my Captain licence to coastal, and do a lot of work to Lisbon4 Sailng company, with tourists around Lisbon
Recently 2018 head organized a Netherland to Portugal fleet crossing thru numerous harbours as Lawersoog, Harlingen, Amsterdam Central, Almuejdem, Stellendam, Den Hag, Scheveninegen, Dunkerque, Calais, Fecamp, Le Havre, Dieppe, Ouistram, Cherbourg, Jersey,
Paimpol, Roscoff, L'aberwrac'h ,La Coruña, Porto and Finisterra amongst others with my 26FT “Tizi n Test” ( 52 days at sea )
In 2019 I teach kids with cognitive issues at “Nautico da Boa Esperança”
November 2020 I bring a Halberg Rassy 38 named “MYCA” from Almeria to Lisbon. ( 7 at sea )
With over 5000 nautical miles at sea my nautical skills go from navigation, meteorology, mechanic, to all kind of repairs.
Nowadays in IT from almost 21 Years but I really want to switch , get out from behind the computer, and get the rudder!
