Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship position
Hello fellow sailors!
I'm interested in finding a position as a crew member, voluntary work or a recreational position. As a teenager, I spent summer days sailing with my dad, and have had a love for the sea ever since. Fast forward to 2020, I spent 6 months of recreational crewing from Miami to Exumas on a Catana 44 catamaran. In January 2021, I joined a Formosa 51 ketch for 9 month, sailing her from St Maarten to Charleston, South Carolina. In March of 2022, I joined a FP 45 catamaran for 13 months; first mate and dog nanny, while cruising the west coast of Florida and the Bahamas/Exumas.
I am a hardworking and easy going team player who respects the captain, the boat and the sea. I love snorkeling, paddle boarding and just plain swimming! I am competent at the helm, manning the sails, night watches, anchoring and running the dingy. I have over 5000nm on open water, however I am always eager to learn and fine tune my skills.
