Job on a sailboat from November 2025 anywhere in the world
Hi! My name is Alessandro (Italian 34yo). I just got my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, either practical and theory, and a valid STCW certificate. I have logged so far 6500+ nm including an Atlantic crossing and some passages on different boats in the Med and Caribbean.
I am based in the island of Paros in Greece, where during summer I work as speedboat skipper for day tours since 2021. I have 10000+nm on motorboats.
After 5 seasons here in Greece I am looking for a new chapter of my professional life. I'd love to get on board of a sailing yacht as captain or first mate or any position would make me step up in my career. I am a very reliable person, hardworker with great interpersonal skills. I speak Italian, English, French,Greek and a bit of Spanish.
I used to be chef for 7 years.

Good teamplayer
Alessandro joined me in my passage from Croatia to Greece. It was great having him onboard. He and the other crew member that joined from Preveza was the "dream team" - with them in the cockpit I could just lean back, relax and pretend to be a first-class passenger rather than the skipper on board. I was even served food. Alessandro and Joanna are of course welcome back at any time.
