hello, my name is gon, i am 19 years old man from isreal, after finish shcool i flue to greece for a skipper coure(today i have a sail yacht off shore qualification from ISSA school), did an year volunteere in agriculture and agricultural night guard, that will finish in september. last but not least i will enlists to israeli nevy in december. and romi, my girlfriend. same age as me, did the same year of volunteere like me but in the desrt. very impresive woman.
what is all about? both of us looking for the opertunity to work, sail and live on a boat . i seek to know better the sailing world, becuse sincs i did the off shore coruse, the yachts dont leave my mind. both of us love good company and love to learn.
do we have the needed skils to be saliors or as a good sail mates ?
- society: both of us had lived for the last year with other 10 to 12 men and women an cooperative and modest life. during this year we exprienced extrem personal and group situation and difficults. due to the intensive routine
- tecnical: i have years expriencs in handworks. first i worked as construction welder for two years and as handyman, also worked couple of mounth in stainless steel factury. i home i love to work with wood, and basic knowlegh with fiber glass and epoxy repairs. to finish with i have also basic, but good understanding in mechanics.
- food: we both can stand a decent meal. ( :
no realiy we made good food.
- sailing: i have the offshore qulifiction, beside that i have sail but only day sails. my main expirens with the sea is wind surf, i am a surfer for 6 year, that gives me very good anderstanding and orientation in sailing. my couple doent have expriance in sail or surf, but she have the most important skils, the desire for the sea.
