Boat Swap
⭐ 2026-2027 Goal _______________________________________
We're two sailors, who have a boat in Oslo.
Our plan is to eventually sail the world, but 2026 and 2027 we'll be doing a lot of traveling (not sailing).
Our goal right now is to boat-swap with people who might be interested in visiting Oslo.
The swap would be just for sleeping, and helping other sailors check-in on their boats while they're away.
⭐ Who we are ___________________________________________
Lindsay (40+) - a Mathematics teacher, from New York, teaching math on the oldest fully rigged ship in the world! Snowboarder, and world-traveler (HoleStories.com), but has been living in Norway is 2018.
Børre (50+) - has owned motor boats for the past 25+ years, but recently bought a sailboat with Lindsay. From Oslo, but loves traveling the world and being on the beach.

⭐ Our Boat & Location __________________________________
Our boat is located in the center of Oslo, in Kongen Marina (which means "The King's Marina" - the king's boat is literally out neighbor boat).

1,5 weeks of sailing with Lindsay
I spent 1,5 weeks of sailing with Lindsay. She is a cheerful, friendly and responsible person. She is quite easygoing and with similar people around we had great joy together; sailing/ drinking. She is quite funny and time actually flies by… She did not know much about sailing but she is a very very quick learner and nearing the end she was close to an experienced crew. I would definitely recommend sailing with her and also spending time together as well.
