Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Racing or Voluntary work position
Hi - I've sailed tall ships and catamarans in the Adriatic Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. I’m a retired financial advisor who loves travel and adventure. I’m married, but my wife has no desire to travel and is OK with me traveling for several weeks at a time. I’m in very good health with no baggage or hang-ups. I am a non-smoker, an occasional social drinker, and love exploring new places while seeking some adventure.
I recently completed two weeks of sailing in Italy, and in 2022, I traveled for several weeks, sailing south from Split, Croatia, to Italy and then to Corfu. I have also traveled throughout the Caribbean island chain on dive boats along with British and Dutch Tall Ships. I enjoy scuba diving and recently spent 7 weeks in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
I am handy with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. I have a workshop in my home where I enjoy making various wood projects. I also have the good fortune of owning and managing a few pieces of real estate, from offices to residences. I'm very good with financial and legal matters and enjoy shooting pistols and rifles. I have also been active in photography for years.
I love meeting people and learning about various cultures and customs. My wife is "traveled out" so I often find myself traveling the world alone and making new friends as I go.
