Looking for the sailing opportunities
Currently looking for the opportunities in autumn/winter 2025 (incl. Christmas holidays, could be couple of weeks or longer). I can be flexible with the locations but my base is currently Germany.
I have RYA Coastal skipper practical certificate (as well as RYA Competent crew and Day Skipper theory). I just fell in love with the life on board. I love exploring, meeting new people; I have a curious, positive and open minded personality. I am hard working and reliable, interested in sustainability and good causes.
In total logged approx. 2k nm incl. 3 weeks of night sailing, usually first mate role, yachts 39-54ft
Experience (approx. 2k nm):
- May 2025 – now: Dinghy sailing on Main river incl. regattas, Frankfurter Yacht club
- June 2025: Crew - sailing in Sicily (Egadi islands)
- March 2025: RYA Advanced drills & skills practical training (Canary Islands)
- December 2024/January 2025: Delivery crew - Australia, from Sydney to Gold Coast
- November 2024: RYA Coastal skipper practical training (Canary Islands)
- August – September 2024: Dinghy sailing on Main river, Frankfurter Yacht club
- May 2024: Crew - sailing in Greece and Turkey
- December - January 2024: Crew in Carribbean sailing - BVI, USVI, Puerto Rico
- April - August 2023: First mate in the various chartering events (private or for companies) in UK (Solent), incl. Round the island race and Cowes racing week (incl. preparation & fixing of the boat, interacting with the chartering clients etc.)
- January - February 2023: Sailboat race Grenada Sailing Week, then cruising to the other Caribbean islands (4,5 weeks in total, half was double handed)
- July - August 2022: Sailing in Greece and Turkey

Sydney to Gold Coast
Klara is a pleasure to share sea time with. She is keen to be part of the team and is a natural on the open seas, showing initiative and finding opportunities to be a valuable asset of the boats crew. Excellent navigating skills, general boat handling, sail trimming and awareness of what's needed to keep everyone safe and in the flow. I hope to sail with Klara again.
