Deckhand | Mate | Skipper
I am a professional skipper with experience across charter operations, flotillas, offshore sailing, regattas and guest-facing sailing.
I am currently working full-time as a skipper in Crete, Greece, operating daily sailing charters aboard 40ft and 45ft yachts, including a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 and Beneteau First 45. Throughout the 2026 season, I have been responsible for navigation, manoeuvres, anchoring, safety, guest experience and the day-to-day operation of the yacht, regularly running tours around Heraklion and the south coast of Crete.
My background also includes flotilla skippering in Croatia, offshore sailing in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, tidal sailing in the Solent and English Channel, and experience in France and the Netherlands.
I hold a Spanish offshore licence (Patrón de Yate), STCW Basic Safety Training, ENG1 and a Spanish passport with full EU work rights. I am also a certified dinghy sailing instructor.
For the coming season, I am looking to step into a larger yacht environment as a Deckhand or Mate, where I can learn from an experienced crew and develop towards larger sailing yacht operations. I am also interested in skipper opportunities in the Caribbean, particularly for the winter season and double-season positions.
Alongside sailing, I bring professional experience in photography, videography, licensed drone operations and underwater imaging. I can therefore also contribute to onboard content creation and social media when useful to the operation.
I am particularly interested in joining a professional, safety-focused team where I can contribute immediately while continuing to build my experience on larger yachts.
