Looking for a Chief Steward(ess), Head of Service or Purser position
I am an experienced yacht stewardess with 5+ years on private and private/charter motor yachts from 47m to 140m, working in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the Middle East. My latest long contract was 14 months as 2nd Stewardess and Relief Chief Stewardess on a 52m private yacht. The Chief Stewardess joined only for guest periods, so for the rest of the contract I ran the interior myself: a team of four, provisioning, crew uniforms, inventories, suppliers, refit contractors, checklists and SOPs. Earlier, on a 140m yacht, I led and trained two interior teams of four (eight crew) within a department of 13, and managed uniforms for 80 crew and toiletries for 40.
My background is in finance: a Master’s degree in Finance, Banking and Insurance, with earlier work as an assistant accountant and financial economist. I have used Voly, Deep Blue and Pinpoint Works under the Captain’s guidance for expenses, invoices and maintenance tracking, and completed the GUEST Yacht Purser Program (Units 18–21) and Advanced Leadership Program (Unit 22).
Service skills include formal and silver service, WSET Level 2 wine with Distinction, advanced cigar service, barista coffee and cocktails, as well as guest wardrobe care, delicate fabrics, care of luxury surfaces, flower arrangements and children care onboard. I enjoy training junior crew, keeping a calm, organised interior and keeping guests happy and satisfied. I hold a Romanian (EU) passport, a valid B1/B2 visa and a valid ENG1 medical.
