looking for paid position on a sailing yacht!
Dear reader,
I'm looking for paid sailing opporunities that expand my sailing knowledge and sailing skills. This can also be in combination with another position/tasks on the sailing yacht. I'm open minded person and a quick learner.
I studied logistics and economics at the university, I have 8 years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality (including kitchen) 1 year of experience as an au-pair. For further details about my resume and experience, please send me a message.
My name is Raisa. I have been traveling through Europe for the last 5 years. I started with cycling from my dutch hometown to Rome, stayed for some time in the Austrian and Swiss mountains to snowboard and work, picked up horse riding and kitesurfing in Italy and much more.
Last March and April i did 4 RYA sailing courses in Aegina, Greece (competent crew, day skipper, yachtmaster theory and day skipper ). Due to an accident on land I had to stop my RYA coastal skipper course midway, so I decided to go and continue my sailing journey just with my RYA Day Skipper certificate. During my courses I sailed on a Bavaria 45, Bavaria 41 and Beneteau Cyclades 43.4. Last year I did a week of sailing on a catamaran (lagoon 400 S2) aswell. Furthermore I used to sail on the dutch lakes on a poly valk.
Ofcourse the journey doesn't stop here, my final goal would to be to go for the RYA yacht master offshore certificate somewhere in the (near) future. But first things first: expanding my sailing skills and knowledge by gaining more sailing experience and milebuilding.
