Experienced Crew seeking friendly boat
I am a 57 year old retired Swede. I spent months sailing when I was in my late teens and took out our 42ft myself in my early 20’s. The timing to buy my own boat is not there yet so right now I am crewing to gain more experience and for a good time.
If you are looking for crew who can take some responsibilities and and contribute, I feel I could be a good fit.
Recent sailing experience:
Just short of 5000nm
Fremantle to Maldives on a Outremer 51
800nm delivery east coast Australia
5 weeks cruising in Fiji and Indonesia
I have a coastal skipper certification.
I have a scuba instructor license but have not paid the fees in 25 odd years.
Obviously happy to help out with everything onboard, the more maintenance I do the more Ill learn.
I happen to be a trained chef if that could help. Fresh baked bread daily is a reasonable expectation :)
As a person I am laid back, positive, I struggle to take me self too seriously and very much up for an adventure.
