Looking for crew opportunities with experienced captains/skippers, happy to travel to other ports for departure
Hi, I'm a broadcast documentary filmmaker, four years into my sailing journey, loving every opportunity to get out there on the ocean with different skippers/captains.
Always keen to listen, learn, cook, clean and enjoy good company, conversation and soaking up that feeling of freedom and adventure out on the ocean.
A bit about me... 42 years of age, filmmaker working currently with Red Cross producing documentary series following emergency disaster recovery and preparation efforts in Northern NSW region. Married/together for 24 years, my wife says she'll join me out cruising once I have enough experience... so that's the goal: gain as much knowledge, skill and experience as I can get each year until the time comes that we can set sail for the South Pacific ourselves.
RYA Comp Crew and RYA Dayskipper Theory & Prac with over 2500nm under my belt. Forever learning, love to hear all the sailing stories good and bad and always ask lots of questions to nail the tip/trick/esson for the future.
