Coastal skipper looking for prep opportunities before YM exam
I am a well mannered, responsible, reliable, curious young Croatian skipper of age 35. I am a working part time as software engineer after 9 years at big tech and have been getting deeper and deeper into sailing since 2019.
I am looking for work as a crew for charters or boat transfers around Med / Europe before doing a YM offshore exam (for which I do have qualifications already). I'm equally into cruising as into long passage making.
My current experience level is RYA Coastal Skipper with YM theory, plus some one day RYA courses, and a mix of sailing as skipper or crew in Adriatic, Greece, English Channel / Solent, and one Atlantic crossing.
Otherwise, I am a proficient cook, enjoy playing guitar/singing, and equally enjoy socializing (preferably with a song) as chilling with a book. I drink socially in moderation and don't smoke. Talk excellent English, native Croatian, and functional German.
