Hi - I'm keen to increasing my sea miles and experience on longer passages but more than happy to help out on shorter journeys or boat returns.

Lanzarote to Gibraltar
I had the pleasure of sailing with Phil on a 10‑day passage across the Atlantic from Lanzarote to Gibraltar via Porto Santo, Cadiz, and Barbate, where we faced up to 35‑knot gusts and 5‑meter seas. Throughout the trip he proved himself to be an exceptionally capable and experienced sailor. He is calm and composed under pressure, with a solid understanding of seamanship and passage making. When things needed fixing, he was always the first to get stuck in—practical, hands‑on, and resourceful, whether it was dealing with minor maintenance or troubleshooting issues in less‑than‑ideal conditions. On top of his skills, he’s great company: funny, laid‑back, and very easy to get along with. He fit into the crew perfectly, contributed to a positive atmosphere on board, and was always willing to help out without being asked. I would sail with Phil again without hesitation and can recommend him wholeheartedly to any skipper looking for a reliable, experienced, and enjoyable shipmate.
