I have been boating and sailing since 2013 and have gained extensive experience as skipper on sailing yachts and catamarans up to 57 ft. Since 2021 I have owned my Jeanneau 57 NARINA and spend several months each year sailing and living aboard in the Mediterranean.

I am comfortable handling NARINA single-handed and enjoy both longer passages and relaxed coastal cruising. Safety and good seamanship are important to me, but for me sailing is not about collecting as many sea miles as possible or moving to a new place every day.

What I really enjoy is the whole boat lifestyle. NARINA is my floating home and gives me the freedom to go wherever I like – and, just as importantly, to stay somewhere for as long as I like. Sometimes that means sailing to a new island, and sometimes it means spending several relaxed days in a beautiful bay, swimming, enjoying the sea and simply taking life easy.

From the yacht I like to explore the surroundings with the RIB, discover beaches, villages and towns, go hiking, rent a quad or scooter, enjoy local restaurants and experience life ashore. If I really like a place – whether it is a secluded anchorage, a beautiful island or somewhere like Corfu Town – there is no need to rush on to the next destination.

No previous sailing experience is necessary. I am comfortable handling NARINA on my own, so I am not looking for someone because I need help sailing the yacht. Anyone who is interested is very welcome to learn and get involved along the way, but there is no pressure to do so. For me, enjoying the journey and life on board together is just as important as the sailing itself.

I am German and speak German fluently as well as English.

  • Boat descriptionNARINA is a spacious and very comfortable Jeanneau 57, fully refitted and exceptionally well equipped for independent cruising. She combines great sailing with plenty of space and comfort on board. English and German are spoken on board. The yacht is designed to stay self-sufficient away from marinas for extended periods. A watermaker, large lithium battery bank, powerful solar system and generator provide a high degree of independence and make it possible to enjoy remote anchorages without having to return to a marina. Despite her size, NARINA is set up for comfortable single-handed sailing. With six electric winches and modern equipment, I regularly sail and handle her on my own. This also means that no previous sailing experience is required to join me – beginners are very welcome and can learn as much as they like along the way. NARINA offers several comfortable cabins and bathrooms, a spacious saloon and an exceptionally large cockpit with plenty of room to relax and enjoy life outdoors. The fully equipped galley includes two refrigerators, a freezer and everything needed for comfortable cooking and living on board, even during longer stays away from marinas. Other features include air conditioning, a washing machine, Starlink internet, a large bathing platform, underwater lights and mast lighting – perfect for enjoying swimming, long days and relaxed evenings at anchor. A new 150 hp Yanmar engine was installed in 2026. For going ashore and exploring the surrounding coastline, beaches, small towns and secluded bays, NARINA has a fast RIB with steering console and 20 hp outboard engine. In short, she is set up not only for sailing, but for really enjoying life on the water.
