Villa staff - Temporary / Seasonal - €3,000 - Spain
The Villa Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the villa which, whilst entirely private, is run as if a 5 star boutique hotel , ensuring that the guests’ needs are met at all times. His/her main role is one of host(ess), waiter/waitress and housekeeper. (All of the cooking is done by the villa’s professional chef.)
He/she has an overall coordinating role in the villa, takes the lead in all customer-facing issues and, once guests have arrived, has primary responsibility for the success of their holiday. The Villa Manager supervises the work of the Villa Assistant (where applicable) and also any relief / support staff working in the villa and also coordinates / supports the work of the Chef.
The successful applicant will co ordinate and oversee the support team inc maintenance , security and drivers, Kitchen staff , cleaning and food service . They will also be responsible for concierge services such as local restaurant bookings.
Must have significant prior hands-on experience in the hotel and catering industry, in waiting/stewarding roles (housekeeping is also useful!) in high level establishments (e.g., super-yachts, 5* hotels, 2 AA rosette level restaurants).
Must be good at working as part of a team, both in leadership and supporting roles.
Must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused, self motivated, take pride in your work at all times.
While previous villa (or chalet) work or spoken Spanish is not a requirement, it can be an advantage.
You will be expected to provide supporting references.
Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
It is also advisable that you have a full UK Driver’s licence.
