Watch: Island FUN!

Huku Niva to Bora Bora via the Tuamotus!

Bon Jour from French Polynesia and S/V Hold Fast! Here I am in Nuku Hiva down from Los Angeles via La Cruz, Mexico. About 5000 nautical miles in. I had two great legs! LA to La Cruz was a great ride and the crossing from La Cruz to Nuku Hiva was pretty epic at 20 days! All that said I find myself solo at this point and heading into the most beautiful part of the trip. The atolls in the Tuamotus are next level! I am looking to head to Gambiers first then working my way up to the Society Islands. Meaning first leg down would be about is about a week at sea. I dont mind being alone but some how I feel greedy not sharing this beautiful thing. I am also making a documentary on the healing power of the ocean. 2006 45 foot boat, stacked, all safety, all fun... Must be positive, have time, easy on dietary restrictions, willing to share cook/clean and Vaxinated. Let’s see if its a fit. Drop me a DM. #circumnavigating #makingtheloop #exploring

Amazing start of a great journey

Hans and I joined the first part of Brian’s trip from L.A to Puerto Vallarta. Brain is an experienced sailor with immense love for the sea and sailing. We appreciate a lot the big importance he gives to safety onboard. The boat is well equipped with everything one can need for a long journey. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to learn from you and join this incredible adventure. We wish you safe travels and endless adventures to come!

Viva La Mexico!

Just sailed down from Marina Del Rey in California to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico with Captain Brian. It was an incredible journey. Brian is a very experienced sailor, savvy with everyday boat maintenance from living aboard and very keen on efficient, practical sailing from years of racing. He’s very focused on the safety of the crew as well. Bring a bag of M&Ms and you’ll instantly win him over.

Crossing the Sea of Cortez

Brian was my captain for my first ocean crossing, from La Paz to Puerto Vallarta. He taught me about the boat, had me aid in night watches and even begin to help adjusting sails. I had a ton of fun with Brian and we anchored of an island and bay to hike and explore the local areas. He was a great captain and it was a pleasure to be on his boat. Thank you again for the adventure of a lifetime!
